Peabody Museum Collections Online

Welcome to the Peabody Museum Collections Online. Please contact the Webmaster if you encounter any difficulties.

Overview

Collections Online provides access to approximately 600,000 database records and over 300,000 associated digital photographs. Users can do a quick search, a more advanced search, or browse preselected groups of commonly requested objects. Users can also optionally register and sign in to create their own accounts that allow them to select, manage and store records for future access.

Additional Researcher Options

In addition to the basic searching and browsing described above, researchers can also contact the Peabody Museum's curatorial department to request a password to allow greater access to the database. Researcher accounts provide access to additional data fields and more extensive data. To apply for researcher access, first register and create an individual account, then contact the museum's curatorial department at pmresrch@fas.harvard.edu. Please include a brief explanation of your research and the name of your Collections Online account.
